About Me & The Company

Hey, I’m Nick! I have an undying love for dogs and a passion for dog care. I grew up with dogs and own a 6-year-old blue pit bull named Winnie. I began professional dog walking a few years ago for a company called Fischer Friendly Dog Co. My good friend Joshua Fischer owned and ran this company himself in the Grosse Pointe area and brought me on board. Eventually, Joshua took a career out of state and I stepped in. This is when I created my own company Winnie Dog Co. 

Winnie Dog Co. offers dog walking, dog sitting, drop-ins while you're away, and some leash training! I also offer pet transport and yard cleanup for pet waste! I serve all the Grosse Pointes, St. Clair Shores, Harrison Township, and even Midtown Detroit! 

  I am in love with this work. Through catering to the individual needs for each dog breed and developing a strong bond with them, I found that I had a special intuition with the pups. I find great joy in meeting a new dog, developing a relationship with them, seeing their “I missed you!” reaction the next time I showed up for their next walk, and everything in between! 

 I take my job very seriously and am always trying to improve! Client satisfaction is important, and their dogs' vitality is just as important (if not more!).
